I use these regularly, changing my brake pads every few months. Good quality for the price
I got these for the price, and they're definitely not bad. But they wear out so quickly (around 3 weeks), especially in wet weather, that investing in a more expensive set will save you money in the long run.
Thank you for your feedback regarding these b'Twin 100 road brake blocks. It is true that pads can wear out surprisingly quick in wet weather. If you ride in all conditions, I would certainly suggest moving on to cartridge pads which give better braking performance and they allow you to play around with a variety of compounds depending on the season.

i'm not sure which brakes were fitted on my btwin hoptown (stock brakes, never changed them in 5+ years!), but those stopped as well lasted well over 1000 miles, while these last barely 100 miles on my btwin riverside 200 - i end up changing pads every month. they do the job pretty well though, and my commute is mostly flat but with lots of wet roads (and grit/salt cos it's winter) so i'm not sure if it's worth spending more for longer lasting brakes.
easy to fit ideal for the job
I bought these for my work bike, cheap alternative & just as good.
Cheap and cheerful winter brake pads. Wet winter roads can eat through a set of pads in I ride no matter how expensive they are. Save your money and buy these, can't fault them at the price.
Easy to fit, no squeal, spa bike. Don't know about wear rates yet, there in top recently.
Managed to get about a month out of them
Thank you for your feedback regarding these brake blocks. It is true that cheaper pads can wear out quicker than others but if you ride in hilly areas and it's wet and you brake at higher speeds then they can wear out during the daily commute compared with longer day rides. Of course I am unaware of the terrain you encounter each day. I see that you were given a complimentary pair during a check up at one our stores recently. For sure, I would heartily recommend moving up to cartridge pads which have superior braking power and you can also play around with different compounds which may suit your local conditions better than these basic pads. Worth a go I'd say.

The length of the bolts is so short that fitting it to my stock brake caliper on my B'Twin 500 road bike was an exercise in frustration. Once fitted they worked perfectly well but I dread the day I have to adjust them in any way. I suspect they weren't made for my calipers but the product details state they are made for every road bike.
These are the same price as the Universal V-brake pads which I think are the ones I should have bought in the first place.
Work fine, so far
Difficult to fit without bike stand
Hi Ross,
Thank you for your review of the 100 road bike brake pads. Sorry to hear that you had trouble with the fitting of these pads as the thread was on the short side.
I will forward this on to the product manager to ensure that isn't the case in the future.
