How to choose your inner tube
Check the information indicated on the sidewall of the tyre (diameter and width). For example, 700x35 means that the tyre is 700mm in diameter and 35mm wide.
On the tyre sidewall you will also find the dimensions in mm in ETRTO international units.
For example, 36-622 means that the tyre is 35mm wide and has a 622mm internal diameter (or around 700x35).

Mounting the inner tube
Watch our video before you start.
Pre-inflate the inner tube slightly to avoid pinching.
Insert the valve, making sure you are using the correct valve for your rim.
Put the inner tube entirely inside the tyre so that it fits inside the rim.
Take care not to pinch the inner tube when fitting.

Start mounting the tyre at the valve.

Inflating the tyre
Inflate your tyre carefully, to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the tyre sidewall in PSI or bars, 1 bar = 14.51 PSI).

6 tubes in 13 months. That's quite a lot. First set of tubes which came with the bike lasted 9 months. Next set changed in January this year with brand new tyres did not last even 2 months. Punctures are expected, but the tube developed bubbles on its surface and later bursted at the same spot. Had 2 spare tubes in stock bought over a month ago and when removed from the pack today one of the tubes already has the bubbles. Lack of quality control I guess. Disappointed.

Interesting irony when first buying the item. Based on the staff recommendation, bought the wrong one. Later that day, had a puncture to the front tyre. So went back to exchange the item & decided to get another. Went out cycling the next morning & had a puncture to the back tyre.

The quality seems fine, price is low. It’s increasingly difficult to find tubes with Schrader valves. This fits the bill at an agreeable price.

I bought two of these and both of them blown up. The refund was rejected due to 'this is not a quality issue, I might have used the tyre leaver incorrectly'. Fair enough, I did not use tyre leaver at all. I bought the same inner tube with presta valve and used tyre leaver and it is good. I am sure this batch had quality issue so ended up in Halfords.
