How is backpack volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
Backpack technical tests.
We conduct laboratory tests to validate components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foam padding, zips, etc. For example, for a fabric: resistance to abrasion & tearing, colour-fastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing... Then, a test is conducted on finished product replicating accelerated demands on the bag over a number of years to check strength of assemblies. The backpack is weighted then placed on a dummy which reproduces the movement of fast walking through thousands of cycles.

The design of this pouch is a failure:
Whenever I put too much stuffs into the pouch and wear it around my waist, the pouch just went lopsided.
Instead of having the back of the pouch stick to my body, the base sticked to my body, forcing the back of the pouch to face upwards.
It got worst when I tighten the pouch to keep it compact. The design of this pouch doesn’t allow balance distribution.
Totally regret buying this pouch, and if all possible, I’ll like to get a refund for this item.

Nice but with major flaws.

Firstly the hip strap are position too low and the top part will flip down. The side mesh pockets with elastic straps is not deep enough to securely hold down even a normal 500ml bottles. While it has nice big capacity, enough pockets , good pricing and good enough workmanship. I cannot accept the flaws so i did not purchase after testing.

Cloths, yes, bars, handphone, wallet towel no prob. But if you place a 1 litre bottle or bike lock in it, the item will drop pull u down from the waist. So Don t put and tools like rench bar

The strap is designed at the lower end of the pouch. When I put in more and heavier objects eg 2 x 1L water bottle, wallet etc .. and strap on the pouch, the top of pouch swings downwards and inverted out, instead of staying fully upright. I ended up worrying if the pouch will fall off during the hike. Poor design which we didn’t realize until we started using!
