The product quality is very good but the whole purchase experience is ruined when found that the company does not provide wall mounting fixtures. The complete equipment is useless until I source the correct fasteners at additional cost of time and money.

Overall the item quite sturdy, but as the product manufactured by Dechathlon, poor finishing for me not acceptable.. However during Malaysia MCO.. I am too lazy to get to the nearest store to change the product.. Should check the finishing of the product.. Dechathlon also can make customers' experience better by providing a suitable heavy duty metal wallplug. Plenty room of improvement.

I was looking for something that will help me with my home workout.
This Pull-Up Bar really does the job well. Well built quality and very sturdy. Note that you will need external assistance to fix this in-wall with
anchors bolts.

Definitely not diy projects unless you have hammer drill and knowledge of wall mounting. You will have to source a carpenter who knows how to wall mount, if not you'll end up ruining the wall. I got the wrong bolts( wall mounting bolts are not provided and and manual doesn't mention which ones to get ) 8mm anchor bolts fyi. You will have to spend another 1k-1.5k for getting it fixed.(includes the Carpenter's fee and anchor bolts 10pcs bcoz you won't get 4 when you order online). It's was very time consuming and hectic experience after purchasing. It's been almost been a month and still haven't got it fixed.

Yes this products needs to be fitted in to the wall. This is to only ensure the strength, durability and stability of the products is sound and lasts a good life time.
If you are looking for a pull up bar which does not need to be fixed, you can opt for the basic pull up bar which can be mounted on the door frame (it does not need to be drilled).
Having said that, the basic pull up bar will not provide the same stability as the one you have right now.
If you are really unsatisfied with the product you could exchange it for a basic one or collect a full refund for the same.

I knew that this would come without the wall mount bolts, which makes sense. However, my assembly bolts were missing which made it very difficult to assemble this (still not completely assembled as the parts cannot be procured in the market easily). Customer support has also not provided these parts when this was called out.
