Fill Power of the down/feather filling
This 85% down / 15% feather down jacket has a guaranteed fill power equal or above 660 CUIN (European standard).
The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. So, down with a higher fill power (high CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation.

The durability and fill power properties of down give this jacket 3 qualities for hiking:

In case of rain
The material of the quilted jacket is water repellent. This means that drops of water roll off the fabric preventing them from soaking into the down jacket as quickly, giving you time to find some shelter. But the down jacket is not waterproof. We therefore recommend wearing a waterproof jacket over the down jacket in the event of prolonged exposure to rain.
How to wash your feather down jacket
Here are a few tips: close all the zips on your down jacket and put it in the washing machine (synthetic cycle at 30°C).
In order to preserve the fill power and warmth, you can even put 2 tennis balls in the machine
NB: set a gentle spin cycle because :a fast spin cycle may create balls of feathers that are difficult to break up.

How to dry my down jacket
When you take your down jacket out of the washing machine, it will seem as if the down has gone. THE TUMBLE DRYER is the best way to restore the fill power of feathers. Put your down jacket in the tumble dryer with 2 tennis balls. Run 2-3 drying cycles.
If you do not have a tumble dryer, you can completely dry your down jacket on a drying rack by turning it over and tapping regularly.

Увы, ветрозащитные качества не на высоте. На нынешнюю погоду в Питере (+5 +8*, ветер 5-10 м/с) совсем не уютно. В помещение быстро становится жарко, лучше сразу расстегиваться. Легкий дождь держит нормально.

Практически все наши пуховики не обладают водонепроницаемыми свойствами, так как не имеют мембрану.Данная модель лишь обработана пропиткой.
Пуховик относиться к второму слою одежды,который выступает в качестве защиты от холода.
Для защиты от внешних факторов (дождь, сильный ветер, снег) служит одежда относящаяся к 3-му слою, например мембранная куртка.

Really great little jacket, perfect for someone who feels the cold a lot (like me), fits well, and is lovely and light. It comes with a little bag to pack it down into, the only thing is I end up putting this in the pocket which I then keep zipped up for fear of losing it. A place to store it within the coat would be amazing. And the addition of an internal pocket would make it faultless, but aside from that I love it.
